Sat Aug 31st: Love Village presented by AfroFuturistic, We Love Soul, and NOITP @ Oakwood Beach






































Saturday August 31st from 2pm-9pm
AfroFuturistic and We Love Soul join forces with Chicago Park District NOITP to present Love Village at Oakwood Beach (39th Street Beach).

Love Village is an exhibition of forward thinking projections of art and music rooted in Love, Soul, and The African Diaspora. This festival's intention is to bring communities together and fellowship through art, music dance, and culture. Whether you're a lover of Good music, someone who loves to be in nature, or someone appreciates art in it's many aspects Love Village has a nurturing spirit that is cultivating to All who seek this vibration.
This is a FREE event for all ages so feel free to bring the Fam!
We will also be celebrating Sean Alvarez's and more of your favorite Virgo Birthdays!

*Lawn chairs, blankets, food, and drink are allowed.


Parking: 
39th Street Beach does have a pay parking lot. If it fills up there is usually parking just west of the bridge crossing Lake Shore Drive at 39th Street. Another alternative is to park near 41st street & Lake Park Ave or Oakenwald near 41st then use the blue pedestrian bridge to cross Lake Shore Drive and enter into the Love Village area.
